In its raw form, the heptahydrate is a wet, sticky product, called snow due to its stickiness or called copperas due to its bluish green color. This grade is not easy to handle. Dried and/or blended with free flowing agents, a free flowing, easy to handle hepta is available. As it starts to split off crystal water above 40°C, the formulation of a free flowing heptahydrate is very important.
Thermal mono is a free flowing micro granulate and is also easy to handle.
Chemical mono is a very fine dusting powder and is also easy to handle.
